Rebecca boasts a scoring touch which makes her a feared opponent, both at home and abroad.
Her USA college background at both Oklahoma City University and East Central University, Oklahoma, and natural athleticism make her a deceptively difficult player to mark. A leading junior of the early 90s she adds a quickness to the New Zealand national team's inside game, which is sure to serve her well in Europe. Rebecca has played on the New Zealand national team for the last three years participating in the European and Chinese tours, the China internationals in New Zealand in 1999 and the successful Slovak tour of NZ in 2000, before appearing in her country's Olympic Games debut in Sydney. Rebecca has developed her game in the last year through a dedicated fitness programme which have resulted in her becoming the top scorer in the New Zealand domestic Women's National League and having a record single game high of 55 points in 1999.
